Whitney St. Ours is a bi-coastal actor and director. As an actor she is often recognized for her distinct and husky vocal quality as well as her ability to take risks and transform. Her raw, fearless, energy has often led others to compare her to Jennifer Lawrence, Catherine Keener, and Jodie Foster. NYC Theatrical reviews have described her as "feisty", "striking", "hilarious", and "exciting to watch". Whitney appeared in season 20 of Law&Order: SVU and worked alongside James Franco in season 3 of The Deuce as Tina Rowe. In 2021 she acted alongside Anthony Rapp in Scrap., an indie feature film that she also associate produced. She can be seen in national and regional advertising campaigns, numerous industrials, and print advertisements. Her short film directorial debut, The Housesitters was one of 24 films in 2020 to receive an exclusive distribution deal through the platform, Alter, a horror/thriller focused subsidiary of Gunpowder and Sky. The film screened at many festivals in 2019 & 2020 and earned Whitney a Best Short Film Director Nomination at The Nightmares Film Festival. In 2020 collaborated with Rachel Marsh to produce, direct, and act in her second short YouBuddy., which (so far) has been named Best Female Short at IndieX Film festival and semi-finalist status at IndieXFilm Awards.
